Epiphy is a self-reflection app for iPhone. When you figure something out, a tip that worked, a lesson, something about yourself, you write it down in a sentence. Epiphy files it for you, and it comes back when you ask. Think of it like a handbook for your life’s lessons.
Yes. Your reflections are saved on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, not on our servers. No one at Epiphy reads them, they’re never used to train AI, and AI features only run if you allow them. You can lock Epiphy with Face ID. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
Yes, if you want it. AI is what lets Epiphy file each reflection under a tab, answer your questions using only your own words, and write your monthly Aura. It also remembers your changes, like moving a reflection to a different tab, and uses them as examples so it files things more the way you would. That memory stays with your reflections and never trains the AI.
The first time, Epiphy asks your permission. If you say yes, only the words needed for each answer go to our AI provider, which can include a few lines from your earlier reflections, never your name or Apple Account. Our AI provider can’t use your words to train AI. Before launch, we’ll name the provider here and say how long it keeps requests. Nothing is saved on our servers.
If you’d rather not, everything else still works. You file things yourself and search by words.
AI can get things wrong, so treat what it says as a read, not advice.
No. There’s no sign-up, email or password. Open the app and start writing. Your Apple Account takes care of your membership.
Very few. By default, Epiphy only checks in on things you’re trying, at most 3 times a week. Everything else is off until you turn it on: reminders for something you’re trying, and a daily memory, where a past reflection comes back to you.
You can turn any of them off in the app, or all of them in your iPhone’s Settings.
Only what you choose. A memory on your lock screen just says “Open your phone to see your reflection.” Your words appear once you open it. If you’d like to see them on the lock screen too, you can turn that on in the app.
Epiphy is free to download, with an optional membership. Join the waitlist and we’ll send the price in our first email. You’ll also see it in the App Store before you pay.
An iPhone with iOS 26 or later: iPhone 11 or newer, or iPhone SE (2nd generation) or newer. It also runs on Mac computers with Apple silicon. We’d like to come to more devices later, but we’re not promising a date.
We’re planning to launch on the App Store on November 15, 2026. If that changes, the waitlist hears first.
Leave your email or your phone number, either one, and we’ll tell you when Epiphy is ready to download. We don’t use them for anything else, and we never sell them.
